About the abortion issue in the United States	A proposito della questione dell’aborto negli Stati Uniti

Arguing the relative merits of “baby murder” versus church-sponsored “fetal life insurance policies” misses the point. The real question is “WILL AMERICA BECOME A PRO-CHOICE NATION OR A NO-CHOICE NATION”?	Non si tratta di argomentare sul valore degli “infanticidi” rispetto alle “polizze di assicurazione sulla vita del feto” sponsorizzate dalla Chiesa. La vera domanda è “L’AMERICA DIVENTERÀ UNA NAZIONE A FAVORE O CONTRO LA LIBERTÀ DI SCELTA?”
“Do Americans want Democracy or not?” I think most do, but the Fundamentalist Extremists who have sponsored this foolishness obviously think our present form of government is a bad idea. Why?	“Gli americani vogliono la democrazia oppure no?” Secondo me, la maggior parte la vuole, ma gli Estremisti Fondamentalisti che hanno sponsorizzato quella idiozia evidentemente pensano che la nostra attuale forma di governo non sia una buona cosa. Perché?
In theory, Democracy is government based on consensus: through the electoral process, the will of the MAJORITY is expressed on an issue, after which the government is supposed to act on the MAJORITY decision.	In teoria la Democrazia è un governo basato sul consenso: attraverso il processo elettorale la MAGGIORANZA esprime la propria volontà su una questione, dopo di che il governo dovrebbe operare in base alle decisioni prese dalla MAGGIORANZA.
This brings into focus the “hidden agenda” which underlies the Fundamentalists’ position on this and many other social issues: Fundamentalists believe THEY are “GOD’S CHOSEN PEOPLE”; that THEY are “THE ALL-AMERICAN MASTER RACE”. THEY will go to HEAVEN. Everybody else (in other words, the Democratic Majority) will go to HELL. Everybody else is BAD. Everybody else must be punished. Everybody else must be CONTROLLED. Members of this “MASTER RACE” loudly proclaim that THEY love GOD, and, of course, HE loves THEM. They serve ONLY HIM. THEY have dedicated THEIR LIVES to “helping” HIM. So, in order to “serve and help HIM”, THEY have a plan to punish and control EVERYBODY ELSE. (Naturally, they believe God likes their plan, that HE will help THEM execute it, and that eventually THEY will PREVAIL).	Ciò mette a fuoco “i secondi fini” alla base delle posizioni dei Fondamentalisti, su questa e su molte altre questioni sociali: i Fondamentalisti credono di essere “I PRESCELTI DA DIO”; LORO sono “LA RAZZA SUPERIORE 100% AMERICANA”. LORO andranno in PARADISO. Tutti gli altri (in altre parole, la Maggioranza Democratica) andranno all’INFERNO. Tutti gli altri sono CATTIVI. Tutti gli altri devono essere puniti. Tutti gli altri devono essere CONTROLLATI. I membri di questa “RAZZA SUPERIORE” proclamano ad alta voce che LORO amano DIO, e che, ovviamente, LUI ama LORO. LORO sono SOLTANTO AL SUO servizio. LORO hanno dedicato le LORO VITE per “aiutarlo”. Quindi, al fine di “servirlo e aiutarlo”, hanno un piano per punire e controllare TUTTI GLI ALTRI. (Naturalmente, credono che a Dio piaccia il loro piano, che LUI LI aiuterà a eseguirlo, e che alla fine LORO TRIONFERANNO).
In order to preclude the possibility that EVERYBODY ELSE, using the Democratic Process as some sort of “EVIL TOOL”, gets THEIR WAY, Fundamentalists have launched a number of “social programs” designed to strangle freedom of choice at every level of America Life. (Remember, these are the same bastards who want to put labels on rock & roll records).	Al fine d’impedire che TUTTI GLI ALTRI, usando il Processo Democratico come una specie di “STRUMENTO DEL MALE”, facciano A MODO LORO, i Fondamentalisti hanno lanciato una serie di “programmi sociali” progettati per soffocare la libertà di scelta ad ogni livello della Vita in America. (Ricordate, questi sono gli stessi bastardi che vogliono marchiare i dischi rock & roll).
Fundamentalists say they answer only to a “Higher Authority”. They fancy themselves to be beyond the reach of mortal law. This pathetic delusion was the hallmark of the Reagan Administration. Since George Bush has borrowed heavily from the talent pool of “MASTER RACE” trainees weaned under Reagan, these ideological kamikazes still lurk in the U.S. government, from the Supreme Court on down. These assholes are a bigger threat to Democracy than any KGB agent ever could be.	I Fondamentalisti dicono di rispondere soltanto a una “Autorità Superiore”. S’immaginano al di sopra delle leggi dei comuni mortali. Questa patetica illusione ha caratterizzato l’amministrazione Reagan. Avendo George Bush attinto a piene mani dalla squadra di talentuosi apprendisti della “RAZZA SUPERIORE” svezzati sotto Reagan, questi kamikaze ideologici sono ancora in agguato all’interno del governo degli Stati Uniti, dalla Corte Suprema in giù. Questi pezzi di merda rappresentano per la Democrazia una minaccia peggiore di qualsiasi agente del KGB.
